An experimental study on steel bar anchorage length in horizontal mortar joint of self-insulation block masonry

Abstract：Through the center pullout tests,different force conditions with horizontal bending bar and without horizontal bend-ing rebar in special masonry mortar additive are compared. Through the pullout tests in self-insulation block,the distribution curves of bond stresses along anchorage length are derived. Based on the experimental results,the critical anchorage length of steel rebar embedded in mortars are proposed.
