Study on strength effect of sulphoaluminate cement paste with different admixtures

Abstract：The compressive strength of pure sulphoaluminate cement and sulphoaluminate cement binary or ternary composited with mineral powder or fly ash were investigated. The results showed that when water-cement ratio was the value corresponding to the standard consistency,the strength of paste was the highest. It was confirmed by XRD and SEM analysis that the hydration products in the paste seemed to be much more at this water-cement ratio,and the paste structure became denser,which was ac-count for the strength improvement.
