Use of maturity method to estimate compressive strength of marine concrete

Abstract：Because of hydration temperature rise,the interior temperature of the structure concrete has significant different from the concrete under laboratory curing environment or the same curing condition,thus cause a discrepancy of the compressive strength between the entity concrete and the reserved sample concrete. Maturity theory was recommended in detail to estimate compressive strength of underwater mass concrete. The results show that maturity theory was more accurate to reflect the actual strength of concrete compared with specimen.
