Abstract:In this paper,a shape-stabilized phase change material(PCM) with high density polyethylene(HDPE) as supporting material was prepared, and added it to prefabricated light dry heating floor. An experimental system was built in the floor heating laboratory, and the thermal performance of the two kind of floor heating systems under different average temperature of supply and return water and different temperature difference were tested. The results show that in the stable-stage,the surface heat flux density of phase change floor is higher than that of ordinary floor, and under the same average temperature of supply and return water, the greater the temperature difference of supply and return water, the smaller the surface temperature of the floor. In the cooling stage, the rate of surface temperature reduction of phase change flooring is very slow, but the floor surface temperature of ordinary flooring decreases rapidly. The research results can provide references and basis for the application of shape-stabilized PCMs in the floor.
