Research on computer aided building energy saving design

Abstract：During the design of green building in nowadays,the architects generally choose some mature strategies or measures to lower the energy consumption of the building based on experience and engineering conditions,which,however,is lack of accurate quantitative reference. The traditional design method is not only unfavorable to comparison between different plans,but also cannot be adapted to local conditions to relief the contradiction between the influencing factors. In this paper,combining with the climate characteristics of Chongqing,i.e.,hot summer and cold winter,computer aided design technology is employed to establish a quantita-tive approach to the design of architectural shape and layout,where the heat radiation,ventilation and lighting aspects of different simplified building shape are analyzed in detail. The feasibility of our proposed approach to the ventilation and lighting design is demonstrated by practical cases,which also provide references for energy-saving design of similar buildings.
