Study on the dispersion mechanism of starch based water reducing agent

Abstract：Starch water reducing agent(SS) is a kind of new,green and environmental protection concrete water reducing agent. Dispersion mechanism of starch based water reducing agent was studied by Zeta potential,adsorption capacity,surface tension and other methods,through which we found that the mechanism of water reducing effect of starch based water reducing agent was based on the steric hindrance mechanism,and presented a synergism of electrostatic repulsion mechanism and hydration film mechanism.
