Abstract:The influence of Na2SiO3/NaOH composite activators with different modulus and solid content,on the setting time, chemical shrinkage, autogenous shrinkage and compressive strength of alkali-activated slag cement mortar(binder to cement or slag is 0.55) was systematically investigated, and the slag sample was characterized by XRF,XRD and MBET. Results show that slag is mainly composed by amorphous glass phase, having a very high reactivity. Compared with cement mortar with the same binder to cement or slag ratio,alkali-activated slag cement mortar has much larger compressive strength and autogenous shrinkage, but similar 7 days chemical shrinkage.Activators with different modulus and solid content influence significantly the deformation and mechanical properties of alkali-activated slag cement mortar, specially, the bigger the modulus, the smaller the autogenous shrinkage, while the increasing of the solid content made autogenous shrinkage increase firstly but reduce at later stage.
