Discussion on influencing factors on bonding strength of coating with waterborne NEH coating

Abstract：Based on code GB/T 22374-2008"Floor coatings",the influencing factors such as primer,type of concrete substrate,pigment volume concentration (PVC) and thickness of wet film to the bonding strength of coating with waterborne NEH resin have been discussed.The testing results show that primer with waterborne NEH technology could improve the bonding strength of coating on standard concrete substrate,and waterborne NEH coating also has good bonding strength to acrylic polymer modified cement-based self-leveling substrate.Whenthe PVC is 40％ and the thickness of wet film is controlled at 0.50 mm,the bonding strength of waterborne NEH coating reaches to the optimized 3.87 MPa on standard concrete substrate.
