Abstract：In the construction of "sponge city",permeable brick pavement is a kind of both beautiful and practical source control low influence development system.It can eliminate surface runoff,reduce peak flow,and purify rainwater pollution.In city square,sidewalk and parking field and other construction,it has been widely used and improves the phenomenon of urban waterlogging.This paper introduced the classification,preparation of permeable brick and its utilization of construction waste and industrial wastes.It introduces the research progress of new water permeable bricks,such as self-cleaning permeable brick.
