Abstract：This paper delivered the relationships of uniaxial tensile and compressive stress with strain and bending properties,and felt－bending strength of cement mortar with polyvinyl acetate(PVAC).Test results show that,with adding of PVAC,the polymer－mortar possessed excellent felt－bending properties,especially for the long－term durability.Therefore,the deformation and mechanical properties of mortar can be improved efficiently by adding PVAC.Furthermore,the workability of PVAC－mortar has been ameliorated.Hence,the polymer－mortar can be widely used as agglutinating of old－fresh concrete,sticking steel plate and surface whitewashing at structure feinforced.
