The expression of Bax protein and dynamic changes of mRNA in buccal mucosa carcinoma cell apoptosis induced by hyperthermia
Abstract:AIM: To investigate the importance of the Bax gene in apoptosis induced by hyperthermia in BcaCD885 cells.METHODS: Through hyperthermia at 43 ℃ for 40min, apoptosis was induced in BcaCD885 cells. 0,3,6,12,24 and 48 hours after completing heating, the apoptotic rate, the Bax protein and mRNA expressions of the cells were analyzed using flow cytometry DNA analysis, flow cytometry protein analysis and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analysis.RESULTS:After hyperthermia, the apoptotic rate, the Bax protein and mRNA expressions of the BcaCD885 cells there increased significantly.CONCLUSION: Hyperthermia acting as an external signal up-regulate expression of bax gene and then induces apoptosis in BcaCD885 cells.
