Observation on effects of drug injected into acupoints and non-acupoints of pericardium meridian on regulating cardiac function
Abstract：Aim The paper is aimed to observe whether or not the effect of the drug injected into acupoint and non-acupoint of pericardium meridian(PM) is the same and study its regulating effect on heart function.Methods Lidocaine was injected on acupoints and non-acupoints of PM of the rabbits suffering from arrhythmia by muscular injection of Aconitine to observe the effect of anti-arrhythmia.Then their effects were compared with those of the group of medication by muscular injection.Results The effect of correcting arrhythmia of Lidocaine was enhanced by medication in acupoints and non-acupoints of PM.Moreover, the effect of acupoint group was much stronger than that of non-acupoint group.There was significant difference between acupoint injection group and muscular injection group in respect to recovery time,index and recovery rate of arrhythmia ( t=3.49- 3.65,P< 0.01;u=2.52,P< 0.05) . The correcting effects of injecting Lidocaine into Tianquan and Quze were better than those of muscular injection group,and the protective effect on cardiac function was more significant.Conclusion The pericardium meridian has an overall efficiency and acts as a channel participating in regulating the function of the heart.
