Effect of laryngeal microresecting technique under laryngoscope and rigid telescope with video system on reserving vocal function
Abstract：Aim To investigate the safety,accuracy and rapidness of laryngeal microresecting technique and characteristics of reserving integrity of laryngeal structure and vocal function.Methods Twenty- three inpatients with laryngeal commonly encountered disease were treated with the special shaver blade with the aid of a rigid telescope with video system and a Hollinger style laryngoscope and the examination results of electronic laringoscopy before and after operation were compared.Results It was found that the whole operating time was much shorted than that of traditional method or operation under microlaryngoscopy and the operational sight was kept always clear with little cut coverage and accuracy.After follow- up,23 cases achieved good vocal function or the vocal function was kept.Conclusion The laryngeal microresecting technique under laryngoscope and rigid telescope with video system presents the advantages of simplicity,safety and utility and shows especial value in reserving laryngeal function in phonation surgery.
