Experimental study Of polylactic acid foam as support carrier for culture of bone marrow stromal cells
Abstract:Objective The foam of polylactic acid was prepared, the bone marrow stromal cells were absorbed by polylactic acid foam. Method We use the polylactic acid-cells complexes to repair the defects of rabbit articular cartilage in weight bearing and nonweight bearing area, to explore feasibility of polylactic acid as carrier materials in tissue engineering. After 4、8 、 12weeks the repair tissue was evaluated by histologic method. Result Bone marrow stromal cells are able to repair the detect of articular cartilage Conclusion The polylactic acid are fit carrier material for bone marrow stromal cell repair the detect of articular cartilage.
