Effects of rehabilitation therapy of combination of chinese traditional and western medicine on extremity motor function and ability of daily life in strok patients of the early stage
Abstract：Objective To explore effects of comprehensive rehabilitationtherapy on extremity motor function and ability of daily life(ADL)in stroke patients of the early stage.Method Comprehensive rehabilitation treatment including the facilitation techniques such as chinese drugs bu yang huan wu tang jia jian and neurological development,massage and functional electrical stimulation was utilized.Fugl-Meyer scale and Barthel index were used to assess motor function and ADL. Result Extremity motor function and ADL in recovery group were obviously superior to those in control group after treatment(P<0.01). Conclusion The comprehensive rehabilitation therapy could remarkably improve the extremity motor function and ADL.
