Functional rehabilitation of upper limb in hemiplegia by integrated acupuncture & Taiji Gong
Abstract:Objective To observe the therapeutioc effects on the functionalrehabilitation of the upper limbs in hemiplegia patients.Method 11 cases were treated by traditional chineses acupuncture in combination with exercise of six-motion taiji gong passively and actively.Result The functional rehabilitation of affected limbs were significantly improved.The primary evaluated score of affected limb's functions post-treatment was obviously higher than that of pre-treatment(P<0.01). Conclusion Acupuncture and taiji gong could promoted functional recovery of upper limb in hemiplegia patients.
