Preliminary study on brain SPECT imaging in patients with depression
Abstract：Objective To observe the changes of regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) in depressed patients.Methods 99mTCECD SPECT was performed on 10 depressed patients unmediated by anti－ depressants. Also,To observed the changes of rCBF in 5 depressed patients treated with repetitive transcranial magnetic stiamulation( rTMS ).Results The rCBF of left frontal were decreased in depressed patients.By rTmS, the rCBF of left frontal was increased significantly.Conclusions Hypoperfusions of left frontal were identified in patients with depression rTMS could increase the rCBF in left frontal.
