The effect of early applied occupational therapy on rehabilitation outcome of stroke patients
Abstract：To evaluate the effect of early applied occupational therapy on rehabilitation outcome of stroke patients.Methods:50 stroke patients were randomly assigned to an integrated group with physical therapy and occupational therapy wynthetically,a control group with physical therapy only.Results:The score of motor function and ADL evaluation of integrated group was higher than that of control group,the Barthel Index of integrated group was higher markedly in the first 4 weeks of treatment or when the patients of two groups with same motor function.Conclusion :Occupational therapy can improve the ADL and motor function of stroke patients.
