Abstract:Duplicated renal-ureteral malformation is one of the common congenital malformations of the urinary sys-tem.Most cases present as unilateral lesions, while the coexistence of bilateral duplicated renal-ureteral malformation and uni-lateral ectopic kidney is rare. Most patients have no significant clinical manifestations;however, when hydronephrosis occurs due to ureteral stenosis or obstruction,it is easily confused with simple renal cysts. This article reports a case of bilateral dupli-cated renal-ureteral malformation complicated with giant hydronephrosis in one ectopic kidney, aiming to provide a reference for clinical treatment.
