Abstract:Radical nephrectomy represents a standard therapeutic approach for renal cell carcinoma.During this procedure,Hem-o-lok clips are routinely employed for renal vascular ligation. These non-absorbable polymer clips carry potential risks of postoperative dislodgement and migration due to their permanent nature. However,no domes-tic cases of duodenal migration have been previously documented in China.Tianjin Medical University Cancer Insti-tute and Hospital recently managed an exceptionally rare case where spontaneous duodenal migration and subsequent natural expulsion of Hem-o-lok clips occurred following laparoscopic radical right nephrectomy.
