Research progress in the treatment of erectile dysfunction after radical prostatectomy

Abstract：Radical prostatectomy is an effective treatment for prostate cancer,and postoperative erectile dysfunc-tion is inevitable despite the intraoperative application of nerve sparing techniques.Therefore,this article reviews the progress of research on the treatment of erectile dysfunction,including neuroencapsulation,biomaterials,phosphodi-esterase type 5 inhibitors,and penile prosthesis implantation,aiming to provide assistance for clinical decision-mak-ing.
