Abstract：As one of the commonly used implantable instruments and tools in urology,ureteral stents are widely used both domestically and internationally.It can dilate ureteral drainage effusion and reduce the incidence of postoper-ative complications,but at the same time,indwelling stents in the body may lead to related complications,which not only reduces the treatment efficacy,increases the medical burden,and even reducing the patient's quality of life.This article intends to review the use of ureteral stents,types of ureteral stents,and complications related to ureteral stents.
