Abstract:Prostate cancer is a common tumor in the male urinary system. The technical improvements of radical prostatectomy is a hot topic in the field of prostate cancer treatment.Radioguided surgery targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen(PSMA-RGS)has enhanced the efficiency to detect and remove micrometastatic lymph nodes dur-ing the radical prostatectomy, potentially improving the prognosis for both primary and recurrent prostate cancer.Cur-rently,various radiolabeled small molecule inhibitors have been appplied in PSMA-RGS,while the recent emergence of the DROP-IN probe has further facilitated the integration of RGS and minimally invasive robot-assisted laparoscop-ic surgery. This paper reviews the progresson PSMA-RGS for prostate cancer treatment, focusing on the optimization of radiolabeled targeted ligands, evolution of surgical techniques,as well as the relevant clinical applications.
