The clinical application of enhanced recovery after surgery in urology

Abstract:Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS)is a philosophy and practice of scientifically guiding patient's di-ets and activities and rationally regulating drug use by adopting a series of perioperative management measures based on evidence-based medical evidence.ERAS is a scientific surgical perioperative management concept and management model. Its implementation aims to reduce the psychological stress and traumatic stress of patients during perioperative period,re-duce the pain caused by surgery and accelerate postoperative rehabilitation.Safety is the cornerstone of ERAS,and the co-operation among surgeons,anesthesiologists and nurses is a guarantee for the successful implementation of ERAS.At present,the application of ERAS in urology has gradually matured along with its continuous improvement.This article will briefly review the progress of ERAS currently applied in our department.
