Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical effect of subinguinal varicocelectomy in the treatment of recurrent varicocele. Methods:The recurrent patients in 5 cases of laparoscope and 6 cases of traditional open internal sper-matic vein high ligation were operated by inguinal subinguinal varicocelectomy under the microscope. The data of preoperative and postoperative semen quality, preoperative and postoperative symptoms, postoperative complica-tions and recurrence rate were compared. Results:All of the 11 cases were successfully operated. No recurrence was obtained during the first half of the year. The sperm count, sperm motility and sperm concentration were sig-nificantly improved.Postoperative scrotum discomfort was significantly improved, and no complication occurred. Conclusions:It is safe and effective to treat the patients of recurrent varicocele with subinguinal varicocelectomy under the microscope, which is worthy of clinical application.
