A clinical study on flexible ureteroscopy combined with percutaneous nephrolithotomy in treatment of complex renal stones

Abstract：Objective:To study the therapeutic effect of flexible ureteroscopy combined with single-tract percu-taneous nephrolithotomy (PCN)in the treatment of complex renal stones.Methods:From May 2015 to May 2016,45 patients with complex renal stones received treatment with flexible ureteroscopy combined with single-tract PCN.Results:Lithotripsy success rate was 91.1％(41/45).Two patients developed pyelonephritis.One pa-tient had severe flank pain,and no other complications occurred.The incidence of complications was 6.67％(3/45).Conclusions:Flexible ureteroscopy combined with single-tract percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the treatment of complex renal stones can effectively increase stone clearance rate and reduce surgical trauma and complications.
