Abstract：The advent of robotic-assisted laparoscopic techniques,with advantages of improved 3D visualiza-tion of the operative field and increased dexterity allowing more precise and complicated procedure,overcomes the limitations.The current status,advantages and disadvantages,future perspectives of robotic-assisted laparoscopy are reviewed.
