Abstract：Objective :To study the surgical treat ments for Xp1 1.2 transl ocati on/TFE3 fusi on gene related renal cancer and effecti veness .Methods :Fro m Nove mber 2008 to August 201 4 ,8 cases of Xp1 1.2 transl ocati on renal cell cancer (RCC )were treated i n PLA General Hospital .Cli nical manifestati ons ,characteristics of RCC and surgical treat ments were retrospecti vel y anal yzed .Results :Most of the patients were under 30 years ol d .All of RCC were u-nilateral .The cancer cells were of mi xed cell types ,and the papillary cells occupied the most .The grade and stage of these RCC were l o w.We chose nephron spari ng surgery or radical nephrecto my based on the tu mor size and the l oca-ti on ,and the retroperitoneal approach was adopted most .The mean operati on ti me was (1 31 ±25 )mi n ,mean bl ood l oss was (72 ±5 )mL and mean hospital stay was (8 ±4 )days .Conclusions :Xp1 1.2 transl ocati on/TFE3 fusi on gene related renal cancer is a rare disease caused by chro moso mal transl ocati on with hi gh mali gnancy .Surgical resecti on is the pri mary opti on .
