Abstract：To-eval-uate-the-feasi-bility-and-teachi-ng-val-ue-of-flexi-ble-ureteroscopy-trai-ni-ng-usi-ng-isolated-porci-ne-ki-dneys-and-ureters-in-vitro-.Methods-:Four-pairs-of-isolated-porci-ne-ki-dneys-and-ureters-were-placed-on-the-net-bar-of-operati-on-platfor-m-and-fi-xed-.Ureteroscope-access-sheath-was-i-nserted-i-nto-ureteral-orifice-to-establish-worki-ng-channel-for-washi-ng-.Fi-ve-trai-nees-who-had-ri-gi-d-ureteroscopy-experience-began-to-trai-n-fro-m-left-to-ri-ght-ki-dneys-i-n-turn-and-fi-nished-all-the-required-contents-usi-ng-modular-flexi-ble-ureteroscope-under-the-supervisi-on-of-tu-tor-.Each-trai-nee-had-operati-on-opportunities-of-8-ti-mes-.The-learni-ng-curve-was-assessed-by-recordi-ng-trai-nees'opera-ti-on-ti-me-after-trai-ni-ng-.Based-on-these-results-,we-eval-uated-theirs-co-mprehensi-bility-and-proficiency-i-n-flexi-ble-uret-eroscopy-i-ndirectl-y-.Results-:All-trai-nees-fi-nished-the-trai-ni-ng-contents-of-flexi-ble-ureteroscopy-accordi-ng-to-tutor's-as-si-gn-ment-.The-average-operati-on-ti-me-was-shortened-fro-mthe-i-nitial-54-mi-n-(42-71-mi-n-)to-1-5-mi-n-(8-26-mi-n-)(P-<0??05-).Trai-nees-achieved-a-relati-vel-y-stable-level-after-the-si-xth-operati-on-.Conclusions-:The-isolated-porci-ne-ki-dney-was-cheaper-and-convenient-for-young-urol-ogists-to-practise-flexi-ble-ureteroscopy-.This-trai-ni-ng-model-was-hel-pful-i-n-i-mprovi-ng-cli-nical-skills-because-of-its-i-ntuiti-ve-and-realistic-features-.
