"Booster"or"Stumbling Block":Digital Inclusive Finance and Green Development of Agriculture

Abstract:[Objective/Meaning]Through the empirical test of the impact of digital inclusive finance on the agricultural green development in China,it could provide a new path for realizing the green sustainable development of agriculture.I Methods/Procedures]Through the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2021,the relationship between the two was empirically analyzed,and the influence and action mechanism of digital inclusive finance on the agricultural green development were explored by using the fixed effect,moderating effect and threshold effect.[Results/Conclusions]From 2011 to 2021,the level of agricultural green development showed a ladder-type upward tendency.Various regions maintained the pattern of"the highest in the central region,the second in the eastern region,and the lowest in the western region",and the overall difference of the Theil index of agricultural green development was gradually decreasing.The characteristics of digital inclusive finance played a role of"booster",which could promote the development of agricultural industry to green ecology.The improvement of the development level of urbanization has made the urban digital basic services gradually perfect,which was an important factor to enhance the role of digital inclusive finance in promoting the green development of agriculture.The upgrading of digital inclusive finance and the improvement of agricultural human capital would affect the role of digital inclusive finance in promoting the green development of agriculture.Therefore,there was a linear threshold effect of digital inclusive finance and agricultural human capital level.
