Empirical Study on the Influence of Urban-rural Income Gap from Rural Financial Development in Jiangxi

Abstract：From rural financial perspective,this paper discussed the relationship between rural financial development and urban-rural income gap. The results showed that rural financial scale expansion enlarged urban-rural income gap,and the increase of financial efficiency could shrink urban-rural income gap in Jiangxi.Therefore,the govern-ment need to pay much attention to the rural financial support policy,build a diversified rural financial institutions system,strengthen the rural financial support for rural middle and small-sized enterprises and farmers economy, promote hard the development of rural economy,increase the income of the local rural residents and narrow the in-come gap between urban and rural areas.
