Legal system of agricultural product safety in Taiwan and its characteristics
Abstract：The laws and regulations of agricultural raw materials production,market circulation and entry-exit inspection and quarantine in Taiwan are enacted by three departments respectively.This paper introduces ＂Good Agricultural Practices（GAP）＂,＂Agricultural Production and Certification Management Act＂ and its sub-regulations,＂Pesticide Management Act＂ and ＂Food Sanitation Management Act＂.Taiwan has a sound legal system and clear legal standards for agricultural safety;moreover,there are detailed penalty provisions and strict law enforcement for violations.
