Relationship between Straight Back Syndrome and Pregnancy

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the effect of straight back syndrome on pregnancy, and to explore the effective treamaent andprevention. Methods: Pathogenisis, manifestation, diagnosis, and complications were retrospectively analyzed in 10 patients with straight back syndrome from January 1994 to February 1997. Result:The function of heart and lung were compensat ed,and mothers and babies were safe after active treatment in pregnant patients with mild straight back syndrome,and they
were not compensated and mothers and babies were not safe in patients with serious and mild straight back syndrome complicated with hypertension syndrome, twin, and so on, though received active treatmaent. Conclusion:The function of heart and lung are worse in patients with serious and mild straight back syndrome with complications than that in healthy pregnant women. We should pay more attention to the safety of mothers and their babies.
