Abnormality and Clinical Significance on Cyto-Kinetics of Positive C-myc ProteinSubset in Patients with Colorectal Carcinoma
Abstract:Objective: To study the abnormality and clinical significance on cyto-kinetics of positive C-myc protein subset in pa-tients with colorectal carcinoma. Methods: The ploidy and cellular proliferation in 30 samples of colorectal carcinoma(T),2cm(P2 ),5cm(P5)away from tumor margin and normal colic tissue(N)were tested with the flow cytometry of nomoclonalantibody against C-myc protein. Results: The aneuploidy in T was significantly higher than those in P2 ,Ps and N. The aneu-ploidy in P2 was significantly higher than that in N,but no difference was found between Ps and N. The SPF and PI of Twere significantly higher than those in P2 ,P5 and N,but no difference was found between P2 ,Ps and N. The aneuploidy wasnot correlated with Dukes stage and malignant degree of colorectal carcinoma. Cndusion:The latent tendency of cancellationhas existed in P2. Furthermore,P2 is not the lowest safe limitation for surgical resection.
