Relationship between Angle of Tilted Abutment and Stress Distribution of Periodontal Tissue in Fixed Prosthesis
Abstract：Objective:To study the relationship between angle of tilted abutment and stress distribution of periodontal tissue, and todetermine the angle limit for fixed prosthesis. Methods:The stress distribution in periodontal tissue was analyzed after thetilted abutment received fixed prosthesis using three-dimensional strain rosette. Results:The stress distribution in periodontaltissue kept balanced for the cause of fixed prosthesis of tilted abutment in a proper range, which will be good for periodontaltissue health. Conclusion: Abutment tilted less than 70 degrees can be fixed and repaired.
