HAN Honggang
Abstract:Vocational identity education is of great significance to the high-quality employment of higher vocational college students.Carrying out vocational identity education for these students helps them confirm the existential value of their vocational self, and enhance their engagement in professional learning, thereby improving their comprehensive employment competitiveness and promoting the sustainable development of their career. However, vocational identity education for higher vocational college students is confronted with numerous practical dilemmas:The utilitarian-oriented talent cultivation goals overshadow the humanistic value of such education; The superficial school-enterprise cooperation hinders students'practical experience in vocational identity development; The fragmented professional identity education weakens the synergistic effect of vocational identity education; The piecemeal career guidance narrows down the overall effectiveness of vocational identity education for these students. Therefore,it is necessary to elevate the level of vocational identity education for higher vocational students.First, establish the talent cultivation goal of developing well-rounded vocational talents, and strengthen the cultivation of students'comprehensive vocational competencies.Second, achieve in-depth school-enterprise collaboration to enhance students'hands-on experience in vocational practice.Third, strengthen the connection between specialty and occupation, and promote occupational identity through professional identity.Fourth, improve the career guidance system and carry out"experiential"employment guidance.
