Abstract：The ideological and political education in the courses of software technology major needs to focus on the organic integration of imparting professional knowledge and infusing ideological and political elements.This paper introduces the characteristics of ideological and political education in software technology related courses,analyzes the entry points of ideo-logical and political education in the courses of software technology major,and takes the"Web API development"course as an example to explore the implementation strategies of ideological and political education in courses from the aspects of the objectives,content,design and methods of ideological and political education,and the construction of teaching staff.
