Research on Automatic Backup of LAN Switch Configuration

Abstract：In the operation and maintenance management of LAN,it is necessary to regularly back up the configuration of switches and other network equipment so that the network operation can be restored quickly in the case of switch failure.For medium to large LAN,there are usually hundreds of switches,and for each switch,manual backup is huge.Taking H3C switches as an example,two methods are provided to realize regular automatic batch backup of switch configurations in LAN.One is to write automatic backup program based on netmiko library of Python language,and the other is to use automatic backup method of H3C switches.Each of the two methods has its own advantages and disadvantages.It is suggested to choose them reasonably in practical use to improve the efficiency of network operation and maintenance management.
