Problems in the Construction of Characteristic Schools and Relevant Reflections

Abstract：As one of the products of educational reform,characteristic schools have their own unique connotations and construction background.The connotation of characteristic schools is extremely rich.Generally speaking,they are characterized by process and historic significance,uniqueness and progressiveness,integrity and stability.It conforms to the trend of global education reform and the theory of global education change,and is carried out in the process of China"s social transformation and education reform.There have been some controversies during the construction of characteristic schools,such as the transformation of characteristic schools into"key schools",exhibition halls for fashionable projects or for"display of performance",and so on.In future construction,it is necessary to attach importance to the construction of school culture and pay attention to the construction of characteristic courses.The government should provide guarantees for the construction of characteristic schools.
