Research on the Current Situation of Labor Relations in Private Enterprises

Abstract：With the stout support from the Party and the government, the private economy has developed rapidly in an increasing number of both enterprises and employees, providing jobs for 90 per cent of the newly-increased workforce as well as 80 per cent of non-farm payroll jobs and making it a major channel for employment. With the growth of the private economy, the management mode and operation mechanism of private enterprises have been continuously improved, so have been their labor relations. For all the overall harmony and stability, some problems keep cropping up including high staff turnover, an ever-higher rate of labor dispute cases, a large gap of payment, which damage the steady and sustained growth of private enterprises. Finally, some ideas and suggestions are proposed concerning how to construct harmonious labor relations in private enterprises.
