A Research on Graduates'Ideological and Political Education in Light of New Media

Abstract：Nowadays most of the graduate students were born in the 1990s.Their growth is accompanied by the growth of new media and they will become a major influence in our society in the future.Therefore much importance should be attached to their ideological and political education.This paper introduces the connotation and characteristics of new media and then analyzes the opportunities as well as challenges such education has to face in the new situation.It goes further to delve into the approaches to uplifting the effectiveness of ideological and political education from the following perspectives among others:updating educational concepts,enriching educational methods and strengthening the supervisory mechanism of new media.
