The Characteristics and Application of Light Source

Abstract：Based on the characteristics of light-emitting diode’s radiation and its comparison with other light-emitting sources including incandescent lights and gas discharge lamp, this paper points out that LED cold light source, without infrared spectrum, enjoys such technical advantages as lower energy consumption and a longer life. The optical power output of the modulated signal is calculated by MZI modulator. The paper also delves into the application of laser light source in lens diffraction and coherent holography.
