Abstract:The internet has changed our life as well as our learning style. While students nowadays can be active learners on networks, network enables teachers to monitor how students get along with their study, especially the key points and the hard points, and to conduct online consultation, in-class discussion and question answering. In this paperflipped classroom teaching, a mixed teaching mode, is introduced to teach the course of construction engineering mechanics in an attempt to produce desirable effects which cannot be achieved by traditional teaching mode. In this mode, teachers need to collect and provide resources including micro class video in advance while students are required to take the initiative to acquire relevant knowledge and complete the tests. Consequently, this teaching is no longer one-tracked and in fact it takes into account the difficult points students may encounter in self-directed study and the way to solve these problems by discussion between teachers and students. It is proved that in this way students are better motivated and their study is more evidently effective.
