Research on the Factors Inlfuencing Inter-organizational Knowledge Flows Based on Social Networks

Abstract：The paper studies knowledge resources flow between organizations by means of social network analysis. There are three major network factors influencing knowledgeflows, namely nodes of the network, the relationship between nodes and network structure. Knowledge acquisition and innovation performance are used to measure the effectiveflow of knowledge resources, and then this paper establishes a research model. This paper tests the research hypothesis with the method of structural equation modeling and draws a conclusion:these factors including the strong relationship between nodes and weak relationship between nodes and the scale of the network and network density, have all significant effect on knowledge acquisition and innovation performance; other factors, including node centrality of the network and network cohesion, have significant effect on the former but not on the latter.
