Research of Chinese Culture Class for Overseas Students:A Case Study of STFI

Abstract：Suzhou Tourism and Finance Institute (STFI) provides Chinese culture and class for overseas students by making use of the existing teaching courses such as Chinese cuisine,tea making,and olive stone carving featuring Chinese culture,especially the local culture in Suzhou in order to help overseas students get used to the school environment as soon as possible.Actually it is the responsibility for vocational schools to convey the Chinese traditional culture to the overseas students and cross-cultural awareness will be built up throngh communication which happens between the Chinese and international students.STFI has the unique and innovative ways to develop the culture classes.
