On Project-oriented Teaching of Modern Telecommunication Theory Based on CDIO Education Mode

Abstract：Given the current demands of high quality technical talents in telecommunication industry, this paper introduces CDIO engineering education mode to explore the project-oriented teaching of Modern Telecommunication Theory and proposes students’ professional competence training mode which takes projects as carriers,tasks as driving force and practical training as stimulus in the whole process. By selecting and optimizing the teaching content, adopting a variety of teaching methods and exploring project-oriented teaching based on CDIO,both teaching and professional skills and competence training are integrated following the teaching procedure:conception,design,implementation and operation in the hope of cultivating students’ practice, innovation,engineering development and cooperation within a team.
