The Design of an Electric Meter Sampling Isolation Scheme

Abstract：This paper discusses the significance of electric meter transmission signal isolation,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various implementation methods at present,and proposes a data isolation design. The design uses the low-cost ELAN's EM78P372N MCU as the control core,the 12 bit AD sampling the input signal and the digital signal communication with after level MCU by opticalcouplers to realize effective isolation. Through testing,the indicators meet the requirements of practical application of this design.
