Study on Predicting Sugar Content of Yellow Peaches by Visible and Near-infrared Spectroscopy
LI Hong-li
Abstract:In this study,visible/near infrared spectroscopy analysis and multiple linear regression (MLR) model are adopted to predict sugar content of Yellow Peaches. Therefore, collecting 60 peaches with different degrees of maturity as samples and their spectra are determinded with ASD field spectrometer. And then reflection spectra are converted into absorption spectrum. It goes further to analyze the relationship between the Yellow Peach sugar content and absorption spectra and the first derivative of absorption spectra of yellow peaches to find out the sensitive bands of yellow peach sugar degree. Multiple linear regression is used to make model of the sensitive band of peach sugar degree. The experimental results show that in the wavelength range of 350~2 500 mm a derivative model of yellow peach absorption spectra simulated works well. Yellow Peach sugar content can be predicted with the help of multivariate linear model, and the correlation coefficient of this model is larger than 0.61,and the root mean square error is 0.44%.
