Motion Simulation Analysis of the Movement of NX Cam Mechanism

Abstract：In view of the low precision and time consumption of the traditional kinematic analysis, this paper analyzes the motion simulation of disc-shaped cam mechanism by means of NX software’s motion simulation modules. The respective dynamic parameters of disc cam mechanism are obtained with two different analytical methods via two-dimensional collision motion simulation on disc-shaped cam mechanism as well as the three-dimensional collision contact state analysis. And some of the data obtained are compared and tested with the help of Admas software. The comparison indicates the consistency of the data. The motion simulation analysis with NX software can help optimize the design of disc cam mechanism.
