An Empirical Study on Promoting Transformation and Upgrading of Export Industry in Nantong

Abstract：Nantong export industry transformation and upgrading have already achieved initial results. But affected by the multiple restricting factors and influence at home and abroad,it is still onerous and urgent. By using empirical research methods such as economic models and export competitiveness index and so on,this article analyzes the development characteristics and the main problems of Nantong export industry. It also puts forward some proposals on how to speed up its transformation and upgrading.
